Dear Customer,

Hello from CRS Incorporated! My name is Operator Girl, and my mission is to provide you with helpful advice and the latest news here at CRS. We value your feedback, so please feel free to participate in our newsletters by letting me know what topics you would like to hear about. You can email me at subfinder@crs-ivr.com. I hope you enjoy our very 1st edition!

Many of you are being charged with the daunting task of changing the SubFinder®Employee Number from a Social Security number to a district assigned ID. Worse yet, you may be asked to change this number for both your employee and substitutes. It may feel like an overwhelming task but, have no fear we can help!

CRS Incorporated has many import layouts which allow you to easily transfer data into SubFinder without having to enter the data by hand. By following our specifications, this huge task becomes very easy to manage.

Creating the Employee Number change

import is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Create a spreadsheet using Microsoft® Excel with two columns. This first column   needs to contain the Employee Numbers currently used in SubFinder. The second column needs to contain the new Employee Number. You will need to make sure that both columns are Right Justified. Note: Each employee and/or substitute will have one row of data with their existing employee number next to their new number.

2. Save the file as a .TXT by clicking on the Save As option and using the Save As

3. Type dropdown to select the Text (Tab Delimited) option. Using DataExchange Pro you can select to run an Employee Number import. If there are errors a log will appear on the screen.

For examples please visit our Customer Support Site.  For questions please call or email your Account Specialist.

Do you struggle with covering Staff Development days? Well maybe CoursePlanner™ is the answer! Find out how CoursePlanner can help your district stay on top of staff development.

Since 2002, after the reform of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, administrators face new guidelines and requirements for reporting on the professional development activities of their teachers and staff. CoursePlanner™ provides accurate, real-time tracking for administrators as well as allowing your teachers and staff the ability to manage their own individual professional development plans.

CRS Incorporated’s CoursePlanner is a fully automated, ASP system which is designed to track and maintain individual Professional Development activities for your school districts teachers, administrators and other staff.

Sincerely,
