InTouch Newsletter January 2008

Dear Customer,

Welcome to the first InTouch Online Newsletter of 2008; the holidays are over and it is a fresh start for us all. CRS has a great year in store for you and all of your staff, so let's get 2008 started!

Monitor Your District's Job and Absence Activity Through Verification

Last month we featured an article on integrating your SubFinder system with your payroll system to eliminate the need for manual data entry. But before sending the data to payroll, you want to ensure that it is accurate. Using SubFinder's Verification feature, you can make the payroll process correct the first time, every time!

What is Verification?

Verification is a feature within SubFinder that allows each day of an absence/job to be verified before it is exported to your payroll system. Verification provides your central office staff or site administrators with the ability to carefully monitor absence and job activity at each site.

Who Verifies?

Typically, absences and jobs will be verified by the administrator responsible for each remote site or site group. This process is done via the Internet. The central office staff can also verify absences and jobs via SubFinder's Edit toolbar.

Using Verification, you can eliminate payroll hassles by verifying jobs correctly the first time! This powerful feature comes with the SubFinder system and has proven time and again to be a life saver for payroll departments and districts everywhere.

If you are interested in more information about Verification or would like to activate this feature in your SubFinder system, please contact your Account Specialist at 800-782-3463.

Looking for Information on Other CRS Products or Converting to ASP?

Q:         Who do I contact to convert my SubFinder Box-on-Site solution to an ASP solution?

A:         That is a good question! Remember, for any questions related to SubFinder or other CRS products you can always call your Account Specialist; he or she will be more than happy to help you or direct you to the appropriate person.

However, for questions related to converting to SubFinder as an ASP solution, or for more information on other CRS products (such as CoursePlanner and SubPay), Katy McCloskey is your go-to-gal! She is your Account Representative and will help you ensure that you are utilizing your SubFinder system effectively, and most important, efficiently.

Katy is looking forward to 2008 and is hoping to speak to you a few times throughout the year. She is focused on keeping your system up-to-date with the latest and greatest!

Learning From Your Peers

As many of you will agree, one of the best ways to learn is through interaction with your peers. Since everyone handles a situation or problem differently, we can learn a great deal by sharing our experiences with others who are in a similar position.

To encourage this type of learning, we will feature a different CRS customer each month in the newsletter and allow them to tell their story on how they utilize their CRS product or product feature. For instance:

  • What product feature is important to your district or establishment and why?

  • If you work at library or other type of facility, how does SubFinder help you?

  • Do you use SubPay or CoursePlanner? How have these products helped your district or facility?

  • How has our Client Services helped you?

  • How have you benefited from attending the Annual User Group Conference or a Regional User Group?

Be creative! Feedback from you will not only help your peers, it will help us too.

If you are interested, please contact Corinne Everett at 800.782.3463 Ext. 6195 or Corinne.Everett@crs-ivr.com. We look forward to hearing from you!

We look forward to working with you this year, and many more to come!
Sincerely,

The CRS Team
