Dear Customer,
Welcome to the February
issue of InTouch Online!
Although many people only think of
Valentine's Day when they think of
February, don't forget we also have
Mardi Gras, Presidents Day, and, of
course, Groundhog's Day (a Pennsylvania
favorite)! And remember that
2008 is a Leap Year; we get an
extra day this month!

SubFinder- So Much More than an
Automated Placement Solution
Many
districts believe that their SubFinder
system serves only one purpose - automated
substitute placement for the absences
reported by your teaching staff. But
SubFinder can do so much more! Let's dig
deeper into the SubFinder system and see
what else it can do for you:
Fact: Teachers are not the only
employees that can utilize the SubFinder
system.
Non-certified
employees may also utilize SubFinder,
allowing you to track all employee
absences. Using SubFinder for all employee
types will allow you to easily track leave
entitlements and payroll information for the
entire district and provide accurate
reporting. You can even use SubFinder to
track those employees that never require a
substitute by specifying that within the
appropriate job position records.
Fact:
SubFinder can export data to your
timekeeping and payroll systems with the
Data Exchange Pro module already
available within your SubFinder system.
Data Exchange
Pro will
allow your payroll department to export
time-worked and time-absent information from
the SubFinder system. This will relieve your
payroll department of hours of tedious data
entry and provide a more accurate tracking
system for absence reasons, budget codes,
and other essential information.
Fact:
SubFinder can keep each of your sites
informed with up-to-date absence and job
status information with SubCast, the
broadcast email module that is already
available within your SubFinder system.
By utilizing the
SubCast
module,
your sites will be automatically updated via
email throughout the day. Updates can be
sent as often as you wish, and can be
configured on a site-by-site basis if
necessary. SubCast is a clear, well designed
tool that communicates vital information to
each of your sites without involving hours
of labor for your office staff.
If you ever have
questions regarding your SubFinder system
and all of its capabilities, never hesitate
to ask your Account Specialist. There may be
a time where you ask yourself, "I
wonder if SubFinder does..?" Ask us
and we will let you know! |

Have You Scheduled Your Upgrade?
Thanks to input
from you, significant changes have been
made in this new version of SubFinder.
All ASP customers have been upgraded to
the current version; but if you are a
Box-on-Site customer has your district
or establishment been upgraded to 5.7?
In January all
customers should have received
notification of the recent upgrade
release to version 5.7. Additionally,
all Box-on-Site customers should have
received their SubFinder 5.7 upgrade
CD. If your district or establishment
has not received this information,
please contact your Account Specialist.
All upgrades must
be scheduled with your Account
Specialist, so please call and schedule
an appointment today. And of course, you
can also ask any questions you may have
about SubFinder Version 5.7!
To review the
SubFinder 5.7 Release Notes as well
as updated User Documentation,
